Renewal Readiness

Renewal Readiness adds a card to deal records that tracks how prepared a renewal is — with a live countdown, an automated checklist, and a quick-action note field.

CRM object: Deal

  • Urgency badge — Overdue, Urgent (< 30 days), Approaching (< 90 days), or On Track
  • Days to renewal — countdown label or overdue indicator
  • Key metrics:
    • Renewal date
    • Renewal value
    • Days since last activity
    • Readiness score (percentage of checklist items passed)
  • Deal owner name
  • Readiness checklist — 5 automated checks:
    1. Renewal amount set
    2. Owner assigned
    3. Renewal date set
    4. Activity in the last 14 days
    5. Notes / next steps added
  • Quick note field — add renewal notes directly from the card without leaving the record

Minimum HubSpot licence: Sales Hub Professional

HubSpot UI Extensions (CRM cards) are available on Professional and Enterprise tiers. Deal records require Sales Hub Professional or above.

  1. Open Trading Cards from the HubSpot top nav
  2. Find Renewal Readiness in the template library
  3. Click Deploy
  4. The card appears on deal records within ~20 seconds
